Register to take the ICTS exam at the ICTS website. Depending upon whether you are completing a regular, late or emergency ICTS registration, a variety of ways to register are available. Regular registration is available online, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week including holidays up until 5 p.m. central time on your test's registration deadline. Regular registration can also be completed by U.S. mail, as long as your form and payment is postmarked no later than the deadline. Applicants who missed the regular registration deadline can complete a late registration either online or through the U.S. mail. A late ICTS registration form and fees must be sent with enough time so that it will be received (not just postmarked) by the deadline date. Telephone registration is not available for either regular or late registration periods. Emergency registration can be accomplished either online or by calling (800) 239-8107 or (413) 256-2870 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. central standard time during weekdays, with the exception of holidays. Both late and emergency ICTS registration will require additional fees. Some tests fill quickly. When preparing to register, be aware that all fees must be paid up - front.
Changes to the registration date, test subject or test location can be completed online or by mail. This requires a completed Change of Registration Request form as well as payment of additional fees. If you need to withdraw completely, you'll have to complete a Withdrawal/Refund Request Form submitted by fax or U.S. mail no later than 5:00 p.m. central time on the deadline for late registration for that test in order to receive a partial refund.
ICTS registration fees vary upon the test or tests chosen. There is an additional $30 fee for late registration. Emergency registration will add $90. Should you prefer computer - based testing, add $84 to the registration fee and the test fee. Additional services are available, and fees vary.
Online ICTS registration payment can be made with VISA or MasterCard. Debit or check cards showing a VISA or MasterCard insignia that don't need a PIN are also accepted. Mail registration can be paid by personal or certified check, money order, Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card. Cash is not accepted.
