The ICTS content-area test for Business, Marketing, and Computer Education is a standardized, test of 125 multiple-choice questions. The exam's purpose is to evaluate the knowledge of teachers in Illinois in the given subject. The ICTS Business, Marketing, and Computer Education Test has six main subareas: Accounting Principles and Practices; Economics, Consumer Economics, and Career Development; Marketing Principles and Applications; Entrepreneurship, Management, Law, and International Business; Business Communications and Computations; and Computer Education.
There are 23 objectives in the subareas of the ICTS Business, Marketing, and Computer Education test. The test taker must be able to identify and apply different procedures for each topic. To pass the test, it is necessary to post a total score of 240 or higher. The total score of the ICTS Business, Marketing, and Computer Education Test is broken down by subarea so that test takers will be able to focus on their weak areas.
